Cannon Beach, OR. I had a good time taking photos of waves, clouds, starfish and anemones, and nearly getting stranded by the tide.
The coast was my favorite, but there were other good parts: black pepper soda at biwa, shrimp tacos at Por Que No, rooms and rooms of books, mechanical pencils and coveralls at Hand-Eye Supply, gold earrings and silver clogs at Alder + Co., travel mugs and Eena bags at Canoe, grain clutches at Nationale, biscuits.
